Conventionally the layers have been divided into A, B and C horizons. The A horizon is the upper layer, containing humus and is leached and,or eluviated of many minerals. The B horizon forms a zone of deposition and is enriched with clay minerals and iron,aluminium oxides from the A layer. The C layer is the parent material for the present soil and may be partially weathered rock, transported glacial or alluvial material or an earlier soil.

层间氧化带形成和铀富集成矿是地下水在低温、常压、开放体系、非平衡状态对围岩长期作用结果，元素含量及其有关地球化学参数在氧化带不同亚带中表现出一定的变化和分布规律，除Fe_2O_3、FeO、Fe_2O_3／FeO外其它元素含量及其参数只在统计学上呈现规律性变化，而不具分带意义，具有典型的低温地球化学作用特点；利用风化作用化学蚀变参数PC值、化学风化指数ICA和矿物化学分异指数ICV将层间氧化带作用界定于表生风化作用的基岩到母质层阶段。

The results are:(1) The higher of altitude,the less of soil acidity in soil C horizon at Dinghushan;(2) There are more NH4-N,total K,available K, exchangeable K,exchangeable Na,exchangeable Mg and the content of exchangeable cations in lateritic red soil at low altitude than those in yellow soil at high altitude;(3) With increasing altitude,the contents of sio2 and Mn decrease,and the concentrations of this two minerals in lateritic red soil are higher than those in yellow soil.

结果为：（1）鼎湖山土壤剖面C层随着海拔梯度的上升，土壤酸度降低。（2）鼎湖山位于海拔低的赤红壤的NH4-N，全钾，速效钾，交换性Na，交换性钾，交换性Mg和阳离子含量比位于海拔高的黄壤的对应养分含量要高。
