Lenses

透镜

其实,哈勃不使用透镜 (lenses),它使用的是反光镜 (mirror). 伽利略 (Galileo) 用透镜制作了太空望远镜,后来牛顿发现用反光镜更好. 哈勃的主要反光镜的直径是2.5米. 尽管这是在空间上最大的直径,但相对地面上的太空望远镜来说还是太小了.
