蜂窝式电话

1968年,他开始设计蜂窝式电话(cellular phone),因为那时美国还没有移动(mobile)这个词. 1973年,他的小组生产出来四个样品电话. 一个电话重两磅半. 体积是10吋高、四吋厚和两吋宽,并带四吋长的天线. 电池体积虽然很大,但仅能使用20分钟.
