Effects of no- till in the different cover on conditions on crop yield in different cover on conditions were studied in dry land in the middle of the Loess Plateau, DingXi. Results showed that under the no-till form, Pea general increase output, agricultural input costs have decreased significantly , the average saves 810 Yuan / hm2; Under the different cover condition, the net income separately increases 1175.45, 1682.70, 968.25 Yuan / hm2, the economic efficiency is obvious.

本文通过在定西旱地农业地区实施保护性耕作，对免耕在不同覆盖条件下的豌豆产量进行了试验研究，结果表明：在免耕措施下，豌豆产量普遍增加，农业成本投入得到明显降低，平均节约810元/hm2；在不覆盖、秸秆覆盖和地膜覆盖的条件下，纯收入分别增加1175.45、1682.70、968.25元/ hm2。

Secondly, it is not the same fractal diagram by the same codes of IFS to produce fractal diagram. The two graphs are extraordinary similar, but they are different in detail. The problem is researched and the algorithm which calculates the intersection points of two graphs created by the same coefficient of the IFS is proposed. The curve described changing of the intersection points number is drawn. The conclusion is that the curve fluctuates in the tiny range and is smooth when it is seen as a whole. In fact, the curve is a fractal curve.

其次，针对同一IFS迭代码两次迭代绘制得到的分形图并非完全相同这一问题展开研究，提出了IFS分形覆盖相交交点变化曲线的概念，给出了覆盖相交交点变化曲线的绘制算法，在此基础上进一步研究了分形覆盖相交交点变化曲线的变化率情况，得到了分形覆盖相交交点变化曲线宏观上比较光滑，但实际上小范围内异常波动的实验结果。

The main conclusions indicated that NDVI values seemed to be turning up in the area during recent 22 years (1982—2003). That suggested the vegetation cover was improved in Guizhou. The NDVI increased in the spring and autumn and decreased in the summer and winter. The spring made the largest vegetation contribution in all seasons. Vegetation cover was different from the area and the variation was positive in the central area but negative around the edges of Guizhou.

结果表明：22年来，研究区植被覆盖呈增加趋势，表明贵州省植被生态环境向好的方向发展；贵州省平均植被覆盖在春季和秋季呈上升趋势，夏季和冬季呈下降趋势，其中春季对植被覆盖总变化量的贡献最大；植被覆盖程度增减因区域不同而异，变化程度呈增加的区域主要位于贵州省的中部地区；变化程度呈减小的区域分布在贵州省的四周边缘。

Mulching can apparently enhance availability ofsoil water,lengthen the duration of available water,enhance redistribution of soil water from covered soil massto adjacent bare soil mass,increase soil moisture in the adjacent bare soil mass,which can lighten threat ofcontinuous drought to survival and growth of youngling.

覆盖能显著提高土壤水分对植物的有效性、延长有效水的持续期、增强覆盖区与相邻非覆盖区下层土壤液态水的运移与再分布，提高相邻非覆盖区下层土壤的水分状况，减轻了持续干旱对造林成活和幼树生长的威胁。

Based on the analysis on the character of MPDI, the relationship between NDVI and MPDI is studied, and the threshold value of MPDI under densely vegetation covered, middle vegetation covered, sparse vegetation covered and nudation are built. MPDI＞0.12 means the surface is desert,sand or rocks; 0.01＜MPDI＜0.12 means the sureface is covered by middle vegetation, and MPDI＜0.01 means the earth is covered by densely vegetation. 4. Based on the expirical model relation between MPDI and vegetation optical thickness, the latter is computed by the modified algorithm.

在分析微波极化差异指数MPDI特性的基础上，分析了新疆植被指数NDVI和微波极化差异指数MPDI二者的相关关系，并建立了浓密植被覆盖、中等植被覆盖以及稀疏植被覆盖和裸露地表三种植被覆盖状况所对应的微波极化差异指数MPDI阈值。

The objective of the research is to realizing the effects of mulching with different straw composts and thickness on landscape soil properties. The corn, wheat and coton straw composts were used as mulch with 3, 6 and 9 cm thick, to study the effects of landscape mulching with different straw composts and different thickness treatments on soil properties.

为了了解不同类型不同厚度的作物秸秆腐解物的覆盖在园林上的应用效果，采用玉米、小麦、棉花秸秆的腐解物为覆盖材料，覆盖3、6、9 cm，研究了不同秸秆腐解物及不同厚度覆盖对土壤理化性状的影响。

The history and present situation in application and reseache on various kind of mulches in plant cultivations was reviewed, evaluated and conclusion drawn as such: target orientated studies by simulation method on how mulch material and mulching technology effect on the light performance and the soil moisture, heat and salt transport are of high priority.

本文对各种地面覆盖材料在作物栽培中应用与研究的历史和现状进行了回顾、讨论和分析，得出了以下结论：覆盖材料对作物效应的研究，关键在于弄清不同覆盖材料及不同覆盖工艺对光及土壤水、热、盐运移的影响规律。
