Methods: From 1996 to 2004, 30 cases of long segment of open comminuted tibial fracture were treated by the external fixator combined with fibular grafting with vascular pedicle skin flap.

Results Fourteen cases fibular flap survival and grow well , 1 case putrescence due to crisis of circulation postoperation .

结果14例腓骨瓣成活，生长良好，1例腓骨骨皮瓣因术后发生血循环危象，经抢救无效而坏死。

Methods 18 cases with traumatic dislocation of the peroneal tendons were operated in our institute from 1986 to 2000. The mechanism of injury and clinical findings were investigated. 2 cases with acute dislocation were operated by suturing the peroneal retinaculum directly. 16 cases with recurrent dislocation were treated with Watson - Jones operation.

From 2003 to 2005, we had cured complicated tibiofibula fracture with toroid clamp stand for 17 cases. They do not go beyond between kneel and ankle. We observed the degree of functional recovery and the close of fracture.
