In this part, the densities of sodium benzoate, sodium nitrobenzoate, sodium chlorobenzoate and sodium methylbenzoate in DMFwater mixed solvents have been measured at 298.15K with an Anton Paar Model 55 densimeter. Solvent and substituent effects are discussed in detail. The Scaled Partical Theory has been applied to the ternary solutions to evaluate the partial molar volumes of cavity formation and the volumes change associated with solute-solvent interaction.
