Cute pancreatitis is generally considered to be a diffuse disease of the pancreas. Acute pancreatitis with segmental involvement (briefly called segmental pancreatitis) was firstly described by Balthazar in 1985. He reported that 18.1% of patients with acute pancreatits had segmental involvement according to the computerized tomography.

Secondly,traditional calculation theory on configuration of main cable of cable suspension bridge was introduced such as parabola theory,segmental catenary curve method,segmental parabola method and segmental line method.At last,two calculation theories on the stability of bridge was put forth.
