In this paper, research works on the improvement of the voltage gradient and energy-handling capability of the ZnO varistors are reviewed. The main methods to improve varistor voltage gradient (4.0kV/cm) and energy-handling capability (300J/cm3) of the ZnO varistors are presented.

The reaction and influence involving the mechanism of crystal and the interior flow field was developed when impeller machine transferring bittern .Based on the measurement through PIV and numerical simulation,the reason that deposition mass rate and removal mass rate is changed along with the increase of crystal layer was analyzed.
