Mankind was one single nation, and Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed; but the People of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy.

世人原是一个民族，嗣後，他们信仰分歧，故真主派众先知作报喜者和警告者，且降示他们包含真理的经典，以便他为世人判决他们所争论的是非。

And let not those who covetously withhold of the gifts which Allah Hath given them of His Grace, think that it is good for them: Nay, it will be the worse for them: soon shall the things which they covetously withheld be tied to their necks Like a twisted collar, on the Day of Judgment.

Let such a person perish and relapse, and if he is pierced with a thorn, let him not find anyone to take it out for him. Paradise is for him who holds the reins of his horse to strive in Allah's Cause, with his hair unkempt and feet covered with dust: if he is appointed in the vanguard, he is perfectly satisfied with his post of guarding, and if he is appointed in the rearward, he accepts his post with satisfaction;(he is so simple and unambiguous that) if he asks for permission he is not permitted, and if he intercedes, his intercession is not accepted.

I consulted the Prophet who said,"Do not buy it even if for one Dirham, because he who takes back his gift is like a dog swallowing its vomit.

And the example of a disbeliever is that of a pine tree hard and straight till Allah cuts it down when He will.
