(4)保付支票(Certified Cheque)是指为了制止出票人开出空头支票,包管支票提示时付款,支票的收款人或持票人可请求银行对支票"保付". 保付是由付款银行正在支票上加盖"保付"戳记,以证实正在支票提示时一定付款. 支票一经保付,付款责任即由银行包袱.
