Extracts with higher antioxidant abilities, including hot water and ethanol extracts of Boehmeria nivea leaves and roots, were screened and then added into soy bean oil to study effects on oil stabilities of oxidation during storage and also to develop new XO paste products containing Boehmeria nivea leaves and roots. The extents of oil oxidation in XO paste were evaluated by measuring POV and TBA values. Results indicated that after 8 day storage at 70℃, the POV values of soy bean oil with addition of 0.1% of ethanol extracts of leaf and root were 56.27± 0.12 meq/kg and 57.13± 0.50 meq/kg respectively, which were both greater than that of control samples(53.33 ±0.31 meq/kg), showing that extracts of leaf and root do not have the abilities to inhibit oxidation of soy bean oil.
第二部分将抗氧化能力较高的萃取物,包括苎麻叶与根的热水及乙醇萃取物添加於大豆油中,探讨其对油脂贮藏安定性之影响及开发加入苎麻叶或根的XO酱产品,并藉由测定油脂中过氧化价(peroxide value,POV)和硫巴比妥酸值(thiobar-bituric acid value,TBA)值评估其油脂氧化程度,结果贮存在70℃下第8天时,添加0.1 %苎麻叶与根乙醇萃取物,其POV值分别为56.27±0.12 meq/kg与57.13±0.50 meq/kg,皆较对照组(53.33 ±0.31 meq/kg)高,显示以0.1 %的苎麻叶和根萃取物添加大豆油中并不具抑制油脂氧化作用。

The first part of this research was to investigate anti-oxidant abilities of Boehmeria nivea leaf and root. Different extraction methods, drying conditions as well as far infrared were applied to measure their effects on anti-oxidant abilities of Boehmeria nivea leaf and root. Results showed that 95% ethanol extracts of fresh leaves and roots demonstrate the highest anti-oxidant components(total contents of phenol compounds and flavonoids)and scavenging abilities free radical scavengingABTS(2,2'-azinobis[3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6- sulfonic acid]and DPPH (α,α-diphenyl-β-picrylhydrazyl) free radical , followed by hot water and cold water extraction.

Research on individual bamboo biomass and timber physical structure indicated that the allocation of Guadua amplexifolia biomass to branch is higher than moso-bamboo evidently. Root shoot ratio is larger than other sympodial bamboo, so it can be considered as a good breakwind plant because of developed root and branch. Every modularity biomass above ground had significant positive correlation with basal diameter and total height, it can simulated with allometric model. The culm had large relative wall thickness and low moisture content, so it can be cultivated as fine timber-used bamboo.
通过对Guadua amplexifolia现存单株生物量结构和竹材物理结构研究,结果表明:地上部分生物量在枝条上的分配比例高于相同径级毛竹,根冠比较其他丛生竹种大,具有发达的地下根系且易形成密集林分,是良好的防风植物材料;地上部分各器官生物量与地径、全高均呈显著的正相关,可以用相对生长模型进行模拟;竹秆有较大的相对壁厚和较低的含水率,可以作为良好的材用竹种进行培育。

In this work, the effects of culture factors ( MET, IBA, culture medium and culturing in dark) on root formation were studied in tissue culture of Celastrus angulatus. The results showed that the root induction was significantly affected by duration of culture in dark, while other factors were least effective.
