There was a star to light the path to where He lay. 有一个明星来点亮的路径，躺在那里。

Rich or poor they came from far and near, 富人还是穷人，他们来到由远及近，

Cause they'd all heard the reason He was here. 因为他们会都听到他在这里的原因。

Put on this earth to hang there on that cross. 将这个地球上的交叉挂在那里。

Born to die so we could live. 生下来就死，所以我们可以生活。

He had the birthday, we got the gift. 他的生日，我们得到了礼物。

   

They wrapped him up with gentle hands. 他们把他裹了温柔的手。

God hoped the world would understand. 神希望世界能够理解。

Eternal life we shall receive. 永恒的生命，我们应接受。

And all that He asks in return is that we just believe. 凡他所要求的回报是，我们只是相信。
