Look around, tell me what you see: 环顾四周，告诉我你看到什么：

Nearly a billion people into the 21st Century, 近十亿人进入二十一世纪，

Unable to read a book or sign their names. 无法读一本书或签上自己的名字。

Illiterate, and unable to read, not even the Bible. 文盲，无法阅读，甚至没有圣经。

   

Look around, tell me what you see: 环顾四周，告诉我你看到什么：

Earthquakes, natural and man-made disasters, 地震，自然和人为灾害，

Political unrest, famine, war, poverty, 政治动乱，饥荒，战争，贫穷，

And disease all around us. 和疾病在我们身边。

The truth of God being trampled, 上帝的真理被践踏，

And Jesus being scorned by a world 耶稣被蔑视了的世界

In desperate need to encounter him. 在迫切需要遇上他。

Tell me, what do you see? 告诉我，你怎么看？

   

Jesus said: You are the salt of the earth. 耶稣说：你们是世上的盐。

But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? 但是，什么是好盐，如果它已经失去了它的味道？

Can you make it salty again? 你可以把它再咸？

It will be thrown out underfoot as worthless. 它会抛出脚下如草芥。
